New Delhi, May 12, 2025 – In a high-profile press conference, the Indian Army shared crucial updates regarding Operation Sindoor, a military action aimed at eliminating terror threats along the Line of Control (LoC).
The Army emphasized that the operation focused solely on dismantling terrorist bases. However, Pakistan not only supported these militants but also initiated direct conflict. According to officials, on May 7, airstrikes were carried out on terror hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir—without crossing the LoC.
Tragically, ongoing terror activities have led to civilian casualties, especially in regions like Pahalgam. The Army claimed that the situation demanded immediate action.
To counter Pakistani aggression, India’s air defense systems were pre-activated and highly effective. They successfully intercepted multiple threats, including Pakistani drones, China-made kamikaze drones, and even PL15E missiles.
Moreover, the Army reported no major damage on the Indian side. Each hostile attempt received a prompt and powerful response.
Importantly, the Army provided evidence to refute Pakistan’s false claims. They reiterated that India’s focus remains on countering terrorism—not provoking war.
As tensions rise, the Indian Army accused Pakistan of actively backing terror groups. This support, they warned, is the main reason behind the escalating border situation.
