South Indian cinema legend Nagarjuna continues to outshine the youth with his incredible fitness, even at the age of 66. On screen, he still appears as a man in his mid-40s, a feat primarily attributed to his strictly disciplined lifestyle. Nagarjuna believes that age is just a number, but maintains that hard work and consistency are essential to staying healthy. He does not advocate for crash diets or starvation; instead, he considers the right balance of nutrition and exercise to be his true mantra for wellness.
The biggest secret behind Nagarjuna’s vitality is his 35-year-old workout routine. He exercises regularly five to six days a week, incorporating 45 minutes to an hour of cardio, weightlifting, and strength training. Despite his busy professional schedule, he never compromises on this routine. Additionally, he follows a 14-hour intermittent fasting schedule to keep his digestive system strong. He typically finishes dinner between 7:00 PM and 7:30 PM and has breakfast the following morning between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM.
Alongside physical fitness, the actor also prioritizes his mental happiness. He treats Sunday as his “Cheat Day,” where he enjoys his favorite dishes, sweets, and the occasional drink. Nagarjuna suggests that as long as there are no serious health issues, enjoying one’s favorite food once a week is perfectly fine. His lifestyle serves as proof that with proper discipline and a balanced diet, one can remain youthful and active even in old age.
