Quetta, July 4 (2026): News of a highly dangerous and horrifying attack has emerged from the Gwadar district of Balochistan province, Pakistan’s most volatile region. Here, the banned separatist organization, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), carried out a massive suicide attack targeting a primary camp of the Pakistani Coast Guard in the Panwan area of Jiwani, Gwadar. According to a report by The Balochistan Post, the BLA has claimed that over 30 Pakistani security personnel were killed and several others were critically injured in this fierce attack.

According to the information received, the attack took place on Friday evening. In an official statement released by the BLA, it was informed that this entire operation was executed by their most dreaded and high-profile wing, the ‘Majeed Brigade’. According to the organization, a suicide bomber named Attaullah Baloch alias Ajmal rammed an explosives-laden Mazda truck inside the high-security Coast Guard camp. The powerful blast, which occurred at 6:32 PM local time, shook the entire area. BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch claimed that the blast reduced the entire military camp into a heap of rubble. As evidence of this attack, BLA’s media wing ‘Hakkal’ has also released a 4-second video footage showing the truck entering the camp followed by a massive explosion.

Immediately after this horrific truck bomb blast, taking advantage of the ensuing chaos, another attacker squad of the BLA took charge. Their advanced unit, the ‘Fateh Squad’, launched a highly planned ground attack on the destroyed camp. The spokesperson stated that immediately after the explosion, their fighters advanced and engaged in a face-to-face battle with the surviving Coast Guard personnel. It was during this ground operation that more than 30 soldiers were killed, and given the critical condition of the injured soldiers buried under the rubble, the death toll is feared to rise further. The separatist organization has also stated that they will soon share a detailed video of this entire attack on their official channels.

On the other hand, no official confirmation has been issued yet by the Pakistani military (ISPR) or their government regarding this alarming claim and attack. Pakistani officials have maintained silence on the actual number of soldiers killed for now. However, local sources state that immediately after the blast, Pakistani security forces sealed off the entire area, and a large-scale rescue operation is underway to airlift and transport the injured to the hospital. Following this attack, security has been placed on high alert in Gwadar and its surrounding areas, while the BLA has warned that their armed struggle will continue in the same manner until the complete independence of Balochistan.
