Political Tension at Nangal Dam: AAP Leaders Block BBMB ChairmanThis morning, leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) stopped the Chairman of the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) at the Nangal Dam.

• Following the disruption, BBMB Chairman Mano Idhar Pathi moved to the Sutlej Sadan building in Nangal.
• AAP workers, along with Punjab Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains, then locked the gates of Sutlej Sadan to prevent the Chairman from leaving the premises.
• Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is expected to arrive at the location shortly.
• It is important to note that the Punjab and Haryana High Court had recently ordered the release of water, and the BBMB Chairman was set to initiate the process today.
• However, AAP leaders reached the site early in the morning and surrounded the Chairman, blocking the implementation of the court’s order.
• As a result, BBMB operations have been disrupted, and tensions at the site are escalating.
