Major Incident at Nizamuddin Dargah: Roof Collapse Traps Several, Rescue Underway

New Delhi:
A major accident occurred on Friday afternoon in the Nizamuddin area of Delhi. The roof of a hut, known as Patte Shah’s chamber, at the Dargah Sharif suddenly collapsed, trapping several people underneath. The incident took place around 3:50PM.

Police, fire brigade, and NDRF teams are present at the scene, actively conducting rescue operations. According to initial information, some rooms at the Patte Shah Dargah suffered a collapse of both roof and walls. So far, about 11 people have been rescued and admitted to the hospital. At the time of the incident, approximately 15–20 people were present at the location.

The NDRF team has managed to save several individuals, and Imam Sahib is among the injured. He has been taken to the hospital as well. The injured are being transported to nearby hospitals by ambulances.

Rescue efforts are ongoing to ensure that everyone is safely brought out and provided with necessary medical attention.
