Union Minister Manohar Lal expresses deep grief over the death of Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, Meets the bereaved Family
Chandigarh, April 24 – Union Minister of Power, Housing, and Urban Affairs, Sh. Manohar Lal on Thursday visited Karnal and expressed deep sorrow over the death of Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, a resident of Karnal, who was killed in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, on April 22, 2025. The Union Minister offered condolences to the grieving family.
While interacting with the family members and wife of the late Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, Sh. Manohar Lal became very emotional and said that this incident is not only heartbreaking for the family but also for the entire nation. He assured that the government stands with the family in this hour of grief and will provide all possible support.
Speaking to the media, the Union Minister said that it is extremely tragic that a young and promising soldier like Lieutenant Vinay Narwal fell victim to a terrorist attack. This tragedy has deeply saddened not just his family but everyone across the country. Lieutenant Narwal, who had a long service to the nation ahead of him, was brutally gunned down by terrorists in Pahalgam. The Union Minister strongly condemned this heinous act of terrorism.
