Washington, September 21, 2025 – The United States has officially rolled out the “Trump Gold Card”, a controversial new program aimed at boosting jobs, investments, and corporate growth.
US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick announced the launch through a social media post, confirming that the card will be available for $1 million. According to Lutnick, the initiative is designed to create jobs, strengthen businesses, and attract investment to the American economy.
In addition to individual purchases, companies can opt for a Corporate Trump Gold Card, priced at $20 per employee. Unlike the personal card, this version will remain under the ownership of the company rather than the individual worker.
All applicants must undergo a strict Department of Homeland Security (DHS) vetting process, which includes a $15,000 processing fee. Officials emphasized that only those who pass security clearance will be granted access to the card’s benefits.
Defending the move, Lutnick said the Trump Gold Card would attract individuals and corporations committed to strengthening the US economy, creating jobs, and driving investments. He also suggested the program would help reduce the national deficit, while reshaping America’s immigration system to focus on prioritizing American citizens first.
