Rain Brings Brief Respite from Heat in Chandigarh
Sudden showers cool down city after days of hot weather
Chandigarh – On Wednesday, a spell of rain lashed Chandigarh, offering temporary relief from the intense heat that had gripped the region over the past several days.
The unexpected showers brought down temperatures slightly and provided a much-needed breather for residents coping with the early summer heatwave. Roads were seen drenched, and the cloudy sky brought a momentary break from the harsh sun.
While the rain cooled the atmosphere, weather officials indicated it may only be a short-term reprieve, with temperatures expected to rise again in the coming days.
More rainfall is, however, predicted later this week.
