March started hotter than expected in Punjab and Chandigarh. IMD forecasts completely dry weather till March 13—no rain likely.

Chandigarh: 32.7°C (+6.4°C above normal)
Ludhiana: 32.6°C
Amritsar: 31.4°C
Faridkot: May hit 33°C soon. March rainfall so far: 0.0 mm.
