**India, DRC Reaffirm Strong Ties Amid Global Challenges: BJP Leader SS Ahluwalia**
Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo – BJP leader SS Ahluwalia, currently part of a parliamentary delegation led by Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde, highlighted the longstanding and resilient relationship between India and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Speaking during the official visit, Ahluwalia stated, “India and the DRC have always stood together in times of grief. The DRC opened its first mission in Delhi in 1962, and since then, we have shared decades of solidarity.”
He added that both nations continue to support each other on international platforms, with the DRC reaffirming its commitment to stand by India now and in the future. The statement underscores India’s ongoing diplomatic outreach in Africa and efforts to strengthen bilateral partnerships.
