FIR Lodged Over Death Threat to Rakesh Tikai
An FIR has been registered against a man who allegedly issued a death threat to Rakesh Tikait, the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU). The complaint was filed by BKU district president Arab Singh at the Khurja police station in Bulandshahr.
The accused, identified as Shiv Dutt Sharma, reportedly announced a reward of Rs 5 lakh for anyone who would behead Rakesh Tikait. The complaint also accuses Amit Chaudhary, the national president of BKU Atal, of allegedly issuing a contract in Tikait’s name.
Additional Superintendent of Police Rijul Kumar confirmed that an FIR has been registered and that a detailed investigation is underway.
