Delhi Schools Receive Fresh Bomb Threats, Panic Among Students and Parents
New Delhi, September 20, 2025 – Several schools in the national capital received fresh bomb threats via email early this morning, sparking panic among students, parents, and staff. The alarming messages warned, “Stay alert! We will blow you up!”
According to reports, Delhi Public School (DPS) Dwarka, Krishna Model Public School, and Sarvodaya Vidyalaya were among the institutions that received the threatening emails. Some schools in Dwarka and Najafgarh also reported similar threats.
The first call alerting authorities came to the Delhi Fire Service from a Najafgarh school at around 6:30 am. Immediately, police teams, accompanied by bomb disposal squads, fire brigades, and dog squads, rushed to the schools.
As a precautionary measure, schools were evacuated, and thorough search operations were launched. Fortunately, no suspicious object or explosive was found during the checks.
The recurring nature of these threats has heightened security concerns in the capital. While students and staff were safely evacuated, the incident triggered widespread fear among parents.
Delhi Police confirmed that they are investigating the source of the threatening emails and assured that all necessary security protocols are being followed.
