Cold Winds to Sweep Punjab and Chandigarh Today

Punjab and Chandigarh will experience chilly winds for the next two days, even as bright sunshine continues. Daytime temperatures will rise, but the cold sensation will persist. Intermittent western disturbances from February 18-20 will keep the chill lingering, though peak winter conditions have ended.

Over the last 24 hours, the state’s maximum temperature rose by 1.1°C, nearing normal levels. Anandpur Sahib recorded the highest at 24.6°C, while Faridkot was coldest at 4.8°C minimum.

Chandigarh reached a maximum of 23°C on Thursday.
