New Delhi, August 21, 2025:
Panic gripped the national capital on Wednesday morning after six schools in Delhi received bomb threats via email. The threatening mail, allegedly sent by groups identifying themselves as “Terrorisers111” and “VILE”, claimed explosives had been planted across school premises.
The email claimed:
Multiple bombs, including pipe bombs and chemical devices, had been planted across the school buildings.
Sensitive areas such as ICUs, operation theatres, maternity wards, emergency exits, and administrative offices were specifically mentioned as targets.
The group also claimed to have hacked all IT systems and gathered personal details of every staff member.
A chilling warning read: “When the building explodes, every employee’s home will be filled with blood. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Silence will break only when our voice is heard.”
Among the six institutions that received threats were:
Andhra Education Society Senior Secondary School
BGS International Public School
Rao Man Singh Senior Secondary School
Maxfort School
Indraprastha International School
Police teams and bomb disposal squads were immediately dispatched. However, no explosives or suspicious objects were found, suggesting the threats may have been a hoax.
This is the third such incident in four days. On Tuesday, nearly 50 schools in Delhi had received similar bomb threat emails, all of which turned out to be false alarms.
Authorities are treating the case with utmost seriousness, and a cyber-crime investigation is underway to trace the source of the threatening emails.
