India has found its new beauty queen. Manika Vishwakarma, hailing from Rajasthan’s Ganganagar, has been crowned Miss Universe India 2025 at a grand ceremony held in Jaipur. With this victory, she will now carry the nation’s hopes on her shoulders as she prepares to represent India at the 74th Miss Universe pageant, scheduled to be held later this year in Thailand.
Before achieving this national milestone, Manika had already made a mark in the pageant world by winning Miss Universe Rajasthan 2024. Following her regional success, she moved to Delhi, where she began pursuing a career in modeling. Her latest triumph has now catapulted her into the global spotlight.
Manika described her journey as one rooted in confidence, courage, and perseverance. Speaking after her win, she said, “This feeling is incredible. It has been a wonderful journey. I want to thank my teachers, mentors, parents, friends, and family for their constant support. My next goal is to represent India in the best possible way and bring home the Miss Universe crown.”
She added that her path began in Ganganagar, but her decision to move to Delhi for training and preparation was a turning point. According to her, winning any competition requires not just beauty but also self-belief and determination.
The Miss Universe 2025 competition in Thailand will see participants from around 130 countries, making it one of the most competitive global beauty events. Manika is now preparing intensively to ensure India shines on the world stage.
Bollywood actress and jury member Urvashi Rautela also congratulated Manika on her achievement and wished her success for her international journey.
