Video from PoK: Pakistani Army Humiliated as Uniforms and Helmets Sold for Just 10 Rupees

Muzaffarabad, October 3, 2025 – Protests in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) entered their fourth consecutive day on Friday, with demonstrators openly mocking the Pakistani military. A viral video shows army uniforms, helmets, and other gear hanging on roadside fences, being sold for as little as 10 rupees each. In the background, locals can be heard ridiculing the army.

Army Equipment Sold Like Cheap Goods

The video, reportedly from one of the protest sites, captures the symbolic humiliation of the Pakistani forces. Protesters can be heard shouting that the uniforms and helmets are on sale for “10 rupees per piece,” turning military symbols into a subject of ridicule.

Growing Unrest in PoK

The protests, organized under the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC), have shaken the Shehbaz Sharif government. Demonstrators are pressing 38 key demands, including the abolition of 12 reserved seats for Kashmiri refugees in the PoK Assembly and declaring the ISI-backed Muslim Conference a terrorist organization.

JAAC leader Shaukat Nawaz Mir said residents have been denied fundamental rights for over 70 years. “Either our demands are met, or the government will face public anger,” he warned.

Violence Leaves Nine Dead

Clashes between police and protesters have turned deadly. So far, nine people—including three police personnel—have been killed, while at least 172 policemen and 50 civilians have been injured. The violence has disrupted businesses and communications across PoK.

Angry demonstrators torched a police van and a bulldozer, while also damaging government property. In Arja, protesters set up blockades on a key bridge, halting transport. The city of Kotli remained completely shut, with markets and public life paralyzed.

Continued Humiliation for Pakistan Army

This episode comes at a time when the Pakistani military is already facing criticism. Recently, parliamentarian Aimal Wali Khan mocked Army Chief General Asim Munir by calling him a “salesman” during his U.S. visit. Now, with PoK residents openly ridiculing the army, Pakistan’s establishment finds itself under unprecedented domestic embarrassment.
