USA Bombs Three Iranian Nuclear Sites; Trump Calls It a “Successful Strike”

Washington/Tehran, June 22, 2025 (Sunday Morning) – The United States has officially entered the Israel-Iran conflict by launching targeted airstrikes on three nuclear facilities in Iran. U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed the operation, describing it as a “very successful strike.”

According to official sources, American fighter jets dropped bombs on three key Iranian nuclear locations—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan—late Saturday night. The strike marks a major escalation in tensions in the Middle East, as the U.S. aligns itself openly with Israel amidst growing regional hostilities.

President Trump addressed the nation and the world through his social media platform “Truth Social,” stating,

“We have conducted a highly successful strike on three Iranian nuclear sites – Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. The full bomb payload was delivered primarily on the Fordow site. All aircraft are now safely out of Iranian airspace and returning home.”

He added,

“Our great American warriors deserve congratulations. No other military on Earth could have executed this mission so precisely. Now is the time for peace. Thank you for paying attention to this matter.”

Sources in the Pentagon confirmed that all American aircraft involved in the mission returned without incident. Though the exact scale of damage at the Iranian sites remains unverified, initial satellite imagery indicates heavy impact, especially at the Fordow facility, which is believed to be an underground uranium enrichment plant.

The strike comes amid rising tensions between Iran and Israel, following a series of proxy confrontations in Syria, Lebanon, and the Red Sea. Iran has yet to issue an official response to the U.S. attack, but regional analysts warn that a direct American strike on Iranian soil could lead to significant retaliation and wider regional escalation.

International reaction is expected in the coming hours, as NATO allies, the United Nations, and Gulf countries assess the fallout. The United Nations Security Council is reportedly preparing for an emergency meeting to discuss the implications of the U.S. involvement and to urge de-escalation.

This marks one of the most direct U.S. military actions against Iran’s nuclear infrastructure in over a decade. Global markets, already on edge due to the Israel-Iran conflict, are expected to react sharply when trading resumes on Monday.
