“Unwavering Support for India”: Baloch Leader’s Open Letter to Jaishankar from Pakistani Soil

Prominent Baloch nationalist and human rights activist Mir Yar Baloch has warned of deepening China-Pakistan ties, predicting Beijing could deploy troops in Balochistan soon. In an open letter to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, he detailed decades of suppression under Pakistani control, including state violence and rights abuses.

Baloch leaders declared independence from Pakistan in May 2025. Balochistan Republic plans a “2026 Balochistan Global Diplomatic Week” in early 2026 to engage world nations directly.

Praise for Operation Sindoor

Baloch commended PM Narendra Modi’s leadership in Operation Sindoor (May 2025), which destroyed Pakistan-backed terror camps after the April 22 Pahalgam attack. He called it exemplary courage and commitment to regional security and justice.

New Year Greetings and Shared Heritage

On behalf of Balochistan Republic’s 60 million citizens, Baloch extended warm 2026 wishes to India’s 1.4 billion people, Parliament, media, civil society, and dignitaries. He highlighted historic, cultural, trade, economic, diplomatic, defense, and multifaceted ties, symbolized by sacred sites like Hinglaj Mata Temple (Nani Mandir).

Firm Support for India

Baloch pledged “unwavering support” for India in fostering friendship, trust, mutual interests, peace, prosperity, development, trade, defense, security, future energy challenges, and countering covert threats.

Alarm Over China-Pakistan Axis

Balochistan views the growing strategic alliance—advancing CPEC to final stages—as highly dangerous. Without strengthening Baloch defense and freedom forces, “China could deploy troops in Balochistan within months.” He warned: “Chinese boots on Baloch soil without 60 million Baloch consent pose existential threats to India and Balochistan’s future.”

China and Pakistan deny CPEC militarization claims, insisting it’s economic. India opposes it for passing through Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir, raising sovereignty concerns.
