Rohtak/Chandigarh, May 11 – Haryana Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda emphasized that India’s youth will be instrumental in transforming the nation into a developed country by 2047, echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s long-term vision. Speaking at the annual art exhibition award ceremony of Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts in Rohtak, the minister underlined the creative potential and determination of the younger generation.
While addressing students and faculty as the chief guest, Dhanda praised the diverse themes and depth displayed in the student artworks, calling the exhibition a reflection of India’s bright future. “The talent presented here reinforces the belief that India is on the path to becoming a developed nation,” he said.
He also lauded the university for being named after legendary poet Dada Lakhmi Chand, stating that such institutions must ensure that students’ skills are translated into tangible opportunities. “Employment avenues must be created for these skilled graduates,” he urged the university administration.
Reaffirming India’s historic global leadership, Dhanda said, “India has always been a vishwa guru and it will regain that position. Our ideology is unparalleled; Hinduism is not merely a religion, but a way of life.”
Following the ceremony, the minister, accompanied by Vice Chancellor Prof. Shree Prakash Singh, toured the exhibition stalls and engaged with the artists. He expressed admiration for the students’ creativity, professionalism, and forward-thinking approach. Eighteen outstanding students received awards for their exemplary performances during the event.
The function was attended by several notable dignitaries, including former minister Manish Grover, further highlighting the event’s significance.
