Punjab Board Class 12 Results Announced: Pass Percentage at 91%, Harsirat Kaur from Barnala Tops

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) announced the Class 12 results for the academic year 2024–25 on May 14, 2025, at 3 PM. This year, the overall pass percentage stood at 91%, which is slightly lower than last year’s 93.04%.

Gender-wise Pass Percentage:

  • Girls: 94.32%

  • Boys: 88.08%

Once again, girls outperformed boys, both in terms of pass percentage and toppers’ list.

Top Performers:

  • 1st Position: Harsirat Kaur
    School: Sarvhitkari Senior Secondary Vidya Mandir, Barnala
    Marks: 500/500 (100%)

  • 2nd Position: Manveer Kaur
    School: SS Memorial Senior Public School, Kassoana, Ferozepur
    Marks: 498/500 (99.6%)

  • 3rd Position: Arsh
    School: Shri Tara Chand Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Tikki, Mansa
    Marks: 498/500 (99.6%)

All top three positions have been secured by girls, once again highlighting the academic excellence of female students in Punjab.

How to Check the Result:

Students can access their results through the following methods:

1. Official Website:

  • Visit www.pseb.ac.in

  • Click on the link for “PSEB Class 12 Result 2025”

  • Enter your roll number and date of birth

  • View and download your result

2. DigiLocker:

  • Log in at digilocker.gov.in or use the DigiLocker app

  • Go to the “Education” section and select PSEB results

  • Enter required credentials to access your marksheet

3. Through School:

  • Students may also collect their original marksheets from their respective schools or the board office.

Passing Criteria:

  • A minimum of 33% marks is required in each subject

  • For subjects with both theory and practical components, students must pass both separately:

    • At least 20% in practical

    • At least 33% in theory

Additional Information:

  • Over 2.84 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 examinations this year

  • Students unsatisfied with their results can apply for re-evaluation or supplementary exams

  • The result is available only online; no physical gazette will be printed
