Mohali, May 16, 2025 – The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has announced the Class 10 results for 2025, revealing a stellar overall pass percentage of 95.61%. Out of 2,77,746 students who appeared, 2,65,548 successfully cleared the exam.
In a remarkable display of academic excellence, all three state toppers are girls, underlining a strong trend of female academic achievement. Faridkot’s Aksnoor Kaur secured a perfect score of 650/650, claiming the top position in Punjab.
Girls once again outshone boys in the Class 10 results. The pass percentage for girls stood at 96.85%, compared to 94.50% for boys. This continued trend highlights the increasing focus and performance of female students in the state’s education system.
Interestingly, rural areas recorded better performance than urban regions. The pass percentage in rural areas was 96.09%, while urban areas registered 94.71%. This difference showcases the improving quality of education and academic engagement in Punjab’s villages and smaller towns.
