US President Donald Trump has once again grabbed headlines. The US Department of Justice has released a new batch of files from the investigation into sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. These files mention at least seven flights taken by Trump on Epstein’s private jet, the “Lolita Express,” during the 1990s when the two were friends—though no sexual exploitation charges have been leveled against Trump. Trump’s Department of Justice has dismissed this information as false.
The files also include a 2019 handwritten letter written by Epstein to convicted sex offender Larry Nassar. The letter references “our President” and Epstein’s relationships with young girls. This letter dates to 2019, the year Epstein died mysteriously in jail while Donald Trump was still President of the United States.
The US Department of Justice has released over 11,000 files in the Jeffrey Epstein case, including nearly 29,000 pages and dozens of video clips—some recorded inside the jail. Trump’s name appears in the flight records of Epstein’s private jet within these documents.
Shortly after the documents were released, the Justice Department issued a clarification on social media, stating that some claims in the files are baseless and all allegations against Donald Trump are false. They added that if there were even a shred of truth to these claims, they would have been used against Trump.
