Washington: April 02, 2026

Diplomatic activities have intensified to end the fierce ongoing war between the United States and Iran. According to latest reports, US Vice President JD Vance spoke over the phone with Pakistani mediators on Tuesday, shortly before President Donald Trump’s address. Through this secret dialogue, the US has sent an extremely tough and clear message to Iran.

According to a report by Reuters, acting on Trump’s instructions, Vance indicated through Pakistan that if certain specific US demands are met, President Trump is ready to initiate an immediate ceasefire. However, a stern warning was also issued alongside, stating that Trump is in no mood to wait any longer. Vance made it clear that military pressure on Tehran’s infrastructure will continue unabated until Iran agrees to the terms of the settlement.

JD Vance has emerged as a key player and strategist in resolving the Iran crisis. Prominent leaders such as Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner are also involved alongside him in this negotiation process. Political experts believe that Vance’s success in ending this war could establish him as a strong candidate for the 2028 Presidential Elections.

On the other hand, Pakistan’s mediation is being considered significant due to its neighboring relations with Iran. For now, the Trump administration has not released any official statement regarding this phone call, but globally, it is being viewed as a major step toward the end of the war.
