MLA Harmeet Pathanmajra Escapes Police Custody After Firing Incident
In a dramatic turn of events, legislator Harmeet Pathanmajra managed to escape from police custody after allegedly opening fire on the police force.
According to initial reports, Pathanmajra and his associates fired at the police while being taken to a local station following his arrest. During the incident, one policeman sustained injuries.
Eyewitnesses and police sources revealed that the MLA attempted to run over a policeman with a vehicle during the escape. Pathanmajra, along with his aides, fled the scene using two vehicles—a Scorpio and a Fortuner.
Police teams managed to intercept and seize the Fortuner car, but the MLA escaped in the Scorpio. A massive manhunt is currently underway, with police units actively pursuing Pathanmajra.
