Toronto, Sept 20, 2025: The activities of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in Canada have once again intensified, with the gang openly claiming responsibility for multiple shootings across different locations.
According to a social media post by gang member Fateh Portugal, the attacks were carried out on behalf of Goldy Dhillon and the Lawrence Bishnoi network. He alleged that the targeted individual, identified as Navi Tesi, had been extorting money—reportedly around **₹50 lakh—from singers and other individuals in the name of the Bishnoi gang.
Locations: The shootings took place at properties owned by Navi Tesi. The gang claimed they had been firing at these places for the past three days.
Allegation: The gang accused Navi Tesi of misusing their name to collect extortion money, which prompted them to retaliate with violence.
In his post, Fateh Portugal tried to justify the gang’s actions while sending out a warning:
Support for hardworking people: “We have no hatred towards hardworking people. We don’t have any issue with anyone who earns their livelihood with hard work and respects our youth,” he wrote.
On their methods: “Our ways may look wrong, but our intentions are not wrong.”
Future warning: The post also warned that if anyone spreads false news against them in the future, that person would be held responsible for any harm caused to traders’ lives or businesses.
This surge in gang activity comes just weeks after Canada officially designated Lawrence Bishnoi as a “terrorist”, a move that appears to have provoked heightened aggression from his associates.
