Users Demand Ban – Video Goes Viral
A surprising incident involving Delhi Capitals’ spinner Kuldeep Yadav and Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) batter Rinku Singh has gone viral on social media. On Tuesday, after the match between KKR and Delhi Capitals, Kuldeep was seen slapping Rinku Singh twice, sparking outrage among fans and raising questions about sportsmanship.
This is so sad. He felt so sad… Kuldeep should be sent out of the tournament for such a behavior.
You can see the change in the face of Rinku. I feel his shock and pain. He did not deserve it… Very sad…. Really sad. Don't call it a joke now @IPl@DelhiCapitals what is… https://t.co/lYzK29wlik

Following the match, in which KKR defeated Delhi Capitals by 14 runs at their home ground, players from both teams were seen laughing and chatting casually. However, a now-viral clip shows Kuldeep suddenly slapping Rinku on the cheek. Initially, Rinku ignored it, but after the second slap, he appeared visibly angry and said something to Kuldeep.
Though this incident isn’t as intense as the infamous Harbhajan Singh-Sreesanth slap incident, the reaction from fans has been divided. While some believe it was a joke between friends, others see it as unacceptable behavior.
The video, which has no audio, shows Kuldeep and Rinku surrounded by other players. After the slaps, Rinku’s expression turns serious, and he looks angry. The lack of sound makes it difficult to understand the full context of the interaction.
Some users have demanded that the BCCI take strict action and suspend Kuldeep Yadav. Others have defended the act, calling it friendly banter between teammates or old friends.
“Ban him immediately! This is unprofessional.”
“Looks like a joke, don’t blow it out of proportion.”
“You don’t raise hands like that, even in fun. Set the right example.”
“Just two friends goofing around. Chill, guys.”
The BCCI has not yet issued any statement regarding the incident.
