Kim Kardashian Paris Robbery Recounted in Emotional Court Testimony

Stylist Breaks Down While Recalling Kim Kardashian Paris Robbery

The high-profile trial surrounding the Kim Kardashian Paris robbery has taken a deeply emotional turn, as her longtime stylist and friend Simone Harouche recounted the traumatic events of the 2016 attack. Speaking in a Paris court, Harouche described the terrifying night that changed Kardashian’s life forever.

Harouche testified that she woke up to Kardashian’s screams during the early hours when masked intruders broke into their luxury hotel suite. “I heard Kim say, ‘I have babies and I need to live. Take everything – I need to live,’” Harouche said tearfully. Fearing for both their lives, she hid in a bathroom and tried to raise the alarm.

Court Hears Details of the Ordeal

Harouche told the court she initially feared that Kardashian was being raped and believed they would both be killed. Kardashian, whose ankles were taped, eventually found Harouche after the attackers fled with around $10 million worth of jewellery — including her $4 million diamond engagement ring from Kanye West.

“She was completely distraught,” Harouche said. “To see her with her robe all messed up, taped feet, and in total panic… I’ve never seen her like that. She was scared they would return. She talked about jumping out the window or hiding.”

Lasting Trauma After Kim Kardashian Paris Robbery

Harouche testified that both she and Kardashian developed post-traumatic stress disorder from the incident. “She was very free before this. We never imagined we’d feel unsafe in a hotel room,” Harouche stated. She confirmed Kardashian underwent long-term therapy following the robbery.

When questioned about Kardashian’s social media presence and wealth display, Harouche firmly responded: “Just because a woman wears jewellery doesn’t mean she’s asking to be robbed — that’s like saying a woman in a short skirt deserves to be raped.”

Trial Continues for ‘Grandpa Robbers’

Ten men, aged 35 to 78, are on trial in Paris, accused of orchestrating and executing the robbery. Dubbed the “grandpa robbers” by French media, some are charged with aiding the heist, while others deny involvement. The trial continues until 23 May.

Kardashian is expected to appear in court to confront her alleged attackers. Her lawyers affirmed, “She is committed to facing them with dignity and courage.”
