**J\&K CM Omar Abdullah Reaffirms Commitment to Public Outreach During Srinagar Visit**
*Srinagar, May 23* — Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah reiterated his government’s commitment to public outreach during an interaction with locals in Srinagar on Thursday. Emphasizing the role of elected representatives, Abdullah stated that his administration is focused on listening to citizens’ concerns and working toward practical solutions.
“It is the duty of an elected government or representatives elected by the people to reach out to people as much as possible, hear their issues and grievances, and try to resolve them,” Abdullah said while addressing a gathering.
He acknowledged that not all problems can be resolved immediately but assured that every concern raised will be given due attention. “We never said that all issues will be resolved at once. But we have definitely said that we will hear everyone as much as possible and try to work on them. I am doing exactly the same,” he added.
The CM’s visit is part of a broader effort by the J\&K government to strengthen grassroots engagement and foster trust among residents in the Union Territory.
