Is Imran Khan Alive or Not? Chaos Erupts as Elderly Sisters Allegedly Beaten Amid Death Rumors
Rumors surrounding the health and safety of Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan have intensified, creating widespread confusion and concern. The three sisters of the jailed leader have claimed that they are not being allowed to meet him, while his supporters have taken to the streets in protest. Allegations of police violence against his elderly sisters have added fuel to the fire, deepening fears about Khan’s condition — especially as no one has reportedly seen him for the past three weeks.
Imran Khan has been imprisoned since 2023. His family members and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders routinely visited him until recently. However, for the last three weeks, no one — including close family — has been granted access to him, triggering panic and speculation about whether he is still alive.
Large crowds of PTI supporters gathered outside Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, chanting slogans against the government and the military. Videos from other parts of Pakistan also show groups protesting and demanding proof of Khan’s well-being.
Imran Khan’s sisters — Noreen Khan, Aleema Khan, and Uzma Khan — attempted to meet their brother but were denied access. When they persisted, they allege the police responded with violent baton charges.
In a letter addressed to Punjab Police Chief Usman Anwar, Noreen Niazi wrote:
The protest was peaceful.
No roads were blocked and no public disturbance was caused.
Despite this, police allegedly began beating them without any provocation.
Noreen further stated:
“At 71 years of age, I was dragged by my hair. I have sustained injuries. Several other women were also beaten.”
Afghan media outlets have published unverified reports claiming that Imran Khan may have been killed inside the jail. Although these reports remain unconfirmed, the Pakistani government, military, and prison authorities have not issued any statements, raising even more questions.
Khan’s lawyer, Khalid Yousaf Chaudhary, has also voiced concern:
He has not been allowed to meet Khan.
Even essential items for the former PM are not being delivered to him.
These developments have heightened fears that something is being concealed.
With:
No access for family or lawyers,
No recent public appearances,
No official updates from authorities, and
Reports of violent suppression of peaceful protests,
speculation about Imran Khan’s death has rapidly spread across Pakistan and social media.
PTI has demanded an independent and transparent investigation into both the alleged police violence and the former PM’s condition inside jail.
