Players to Watch Out For

Australian all-rounder Cameron Green is expected to attract big bids. In his IPL career so far, Green has scored 704 runs and taken 16 wickets in 29 matches, making him a valuable fast-bowling all-rounder.

Other players likely to draw strong interest include:

  • Venkatesh Iyer (India-based but overseas-listed category)

  • Jason Holder (West Indies all-rounder)

Historically, pace-bowling all-rounders command high prices, especially in mini-auctions where franchises come with specific requirements.

Why Mini-Auctions Are So Exciting

Mini-auctions often prove more dramatic than mega-auctions, as teams arrive with clear strategies and targeted needs. With limited slots and competitive budgets, franchises are willing to push hard to secure players who can immediately strengthen their playing XI.

The IPL 2026 auction promises high drama, surprise bids, and career-defining moments for several cricketers.
