Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sisters have made shocking allegations after meeting him at Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail. His sister Uzma Khan claimed that Imran Khan is being subjected to psychological torture inside the prison.
According to Uzma Khan, during their 20-minute meeting, Imran Khan appeared extremely agitated and mentally distressed.
Kept confined: Uzma alleged that Imran is kept locked inside a single room throughout the day.
Communication restrictions: He is allowed outside only for a short time, and is not permitted to speak to anyone.
Health update: While his physical health seems stable, Uzma said he is under severe mental stress.
Imran Khan reportedly held Pakistan’s Army Chief, General Asim Munir, directly responsible for the conditions he is being kept under.
His other sister, Noreen Khan, claimed that the government and the establishment want Imran Khan to accept responsibility for the events of May 9 and issue an apology.
These allegations come at a time when Imran’s family had already accused authorities of denying them access to him for nearly a month. According to the family, government officials do not want any message from Imran Khan to be communicated outside the jail.
Imran Khan has been imprisoned at Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail since 2023 in connection with multiple legal cases.
