The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has officially released the Class 12 results for 2025. Students can check their marks on the official website — hpbose.org — by entering their roll number.
The results were announced by Board Chairman and District Magistrate Hemraj Bairwa. This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 83.18%.
Mahik, a student from Una district, secured the top position in the state with an outstanding 97.2% (486 marks) in the Science stream.
In the Arts stream, Ankita from Kangra stood first with 483 marks, while Payal Sharma, also from Kangra, topped the Commerce stream with 482 marks.
The Class 12 exams were held between March 4 and March 29, 2025.
A total of 93,494 candidates (regular and SOS) appeared across 2,300 exam centers in Himachal Pradesh.
The result was declared earlier for some candidates on May 15, with the full announcement made on May 17, 2025.
Among the top 10 rank holders in the 12th board exams:
61 are girls and 14 are boys, totaling 75 top achievers.
This highlights the strong academic performance of female students across the state.

The Class 10 results were also announced earlier, with a pass percentage of 79.08%.
Saina Thakur from Niugal Model Public Senior Secondary School, Bhawarna, secured the first rank with 99.46%.
95,495 students appeared for the Class 10 exam.
117 students made it to the top 10 list — 88 boys and 29 girls.
Among them, 20 were from government schools, while 97 were from private institutions.
