Hamas Fighters Execute Eight Amid “Allahu Akbar” Chants; Graphic Video Sparks Global Outrage

Tel Aviv | October 15, 2025 – 1:29 PM (IST)

A shocking video allegedly showing Hamas militants executing eight people in Gaza has surfaced online, triggering widespread condemnation. The footage, which reportedly appeared on social media on Monday evening, shows armed Hamas commanders forcing a group of men to kneel before shooting them dead at close range while chants of “Allahu Akbar” are heard in the background.

According to initial reports, the victims’ hands were tied and their eyes were blindfolded before the execution. The video quickly went viral but is being removed from several platforms due to its disturbing content. Hamas fighters allegedly accused the men of collaborating with Israel — a claim for which no verifiable evidence has been presented so far.

The video’s emergence comes just days after Egypt hosted a major peace summit involving the United States, Turkey, Qatar, and Israel, where a ceasefire agreement was announced. Hamas had reportedly agreed to lay down its arms as part of the peace proposal. However, this latest footage raises serious doubts about the group’s commitment to the truce.

Israeli officials have condemned the incident, calling it a clear violation of the ceasefire conditions. Israel had earlier stated that Hamas must either surrender its weapons or leave Gaza entirely as part of any peace arrangement. The new video, however, suggests that violence on the ground is continuing despite the diplomatic progress.

Human rights observers have drawn parallels between Hamas’s actions in the video and the brutal execution methods once used by the Islamic State (ISIS). In the footage, Hamas commanders can be seen wearing green scarves — a symbol associated with the group — while leading the executions in front of a cheering crowd.

In a statement released later, Hamas claimed that the victims were “criminals” who had betrayed the Palestinian cause. Still, no concrete proof of these allegations has been made public.

International rights organizations and mediating nations have urged an independent investigation, warning that such acts could derail ongoing peace efforts and deepen instability in the Gaza region.
