Hamas Agrees to Trump’s Gaza Plan, Ready to Release All Israeli Hostages and Hand Over Administration

Hamas has announced that it is prepared to release all Israeli hostages, both alive and deceased, on the condition that Israeli forces fully withdraw from Gaza. The group confirmed its acceptance of U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposed Gaza peace plan, stating that it would also transfer Gaza’s administration to an independent body of Palestinian technocrats.

In an official statement, Hamas said, “Hamas reaffirms its readiness to immediately begin negotiations through mediators to discuss the details of this agreement.” The group added that the administration of Gaza would be handed over to a technocratic institution formed on the basis of Palestinian national consensus and backed by Arab and Islamic support.

Trump’s Deadline and Warning

Hamas’s announcement came shortly after President Trump gave the group a stern ultimatum. He had set a deadline of Sunday, 6 p.m. Washington D.C. time, warning Hamas to accept the peace proposal or face what he described as “hell.” Trump cautioned that failure to agree would result in consequences harsher than anything seen before.
