Four-Storey Building Collapses in Delhi’s Welcome Area, 12 Feared Trapped
A major incident struck Delhi’s Welcome area on Saturday morning as a four-storey building suddenly collapsed, sparking fears that at least 12 people may be trapped under the debris.
The building, located in a densely populated part of northeast Delhi, came crashing down unexpectedly, prompting immediate emergency response. Eyewitnesses reported a loud crash, followed by panic as residents rushed to help those possibly inside.
Delhi Police and teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) quickly reached the scene. Search and rescue operations are currently underway, with authorities using equipment to clear rubble and locate survivors.
