Gurugram, August 17, 2025 – Tension gripped Gurugram’s Sector 57 on Sunday morning when unidentified masked assailants opened fire at the residence of YouTuber and social media influencer Elvish Yadav. The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m., when three men on motorcycles fired more than 20 rounds at his house before escaping from the spot.
At the time of the attack, Elvish Yadav was not present inside the house. No casualties or injuries were reported, but the firing left the neighborhood in shock. Bullet marks could be seen clearly on the balcony walls of the residence, indicating the intensity of the assault.
Following the incident, senior police officials and crime branch teams rushed to the site. Forensic experts were called in to gather evidence, while CCTV footage from nearby areas is being scanned to trace the attackers. A case has been registered, and police are investigating all possible angles, including personal rivalry and threats linked to Yadav’s online activities.
The attack has triggered panic among local residents and raised security concerns for the YouTuber, who commands a massive online following and has often been in the news for his outspoken content. Police have now increased security in the area, assuring that strict action will be taken once the culprits are identified.
