Donald Trump Health Update: White House Releases MRI Report, Clarifies Concerns After Viral Photo

US President Donald Trump is once again in the spotlight over questions surrounding his health. First, one of his photos went viral, and soon after, it was revealed that he had undergone an MRI scan. Responding to the questions raised, the White House has released the report and its findings—providing a clear health update about President Trump.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that President Trump underwent a routine medical examination in October 2025 at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. As part of this routine check-up, he received a preventive MRI scan to examine his cardiovascular system and abdominal health.

She clarified that the MRI was not intended to evaluate his brain, as the President had already successfully passed cognitive tests earlier.

Leavitt added that White House physician Dr. Sean Barbabella issued a memo detailing the MRI results. According to the memo, President Trump’s MRI scan was completely normal, and he is in excellent health. There are no signs of inflammation, narrowing, or blockages in his heart or blood vessels. His abdominal organs were also found to be perfectly healthy. All his vital organs are functioning normally, and he has no health problems of any kind, the memo stated.

Why Were Questions Raised About Trump’s Health?

Recently, a photo of President Trump went viral in which he was seen sitting by a window at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida. His eyes appeared to be closed and his mouth slightly open. He wore a white polo T-shirt and a cap featuring the initials 45–47.

After the image circulated widely, several Democrats—including Minnesota Governor Tim Walz—raised concerns about Trump’s health.

On November 30, 2025, while returning from Florida aboard Air Force One, reporters questioned the President about the viral photo and his health. Trump confirmed that he had undergone an MRI in October but said he did not know which part of his body had been scanned at the time. He promised to release his health report soon—and on December 1, the White House fulfilled that promise by making the MRI results public.
