A tragic plane crash in Mexico has claimed the lives of seven people after a private jet collided with a factory building while attempting an emergency landing. The aircraft caught fire immediately after the impact, triggering panic in the surrounding industrial area. Authorities confirmed that around 130 residents from nearby buildings were safely evacuated.

San Mateo Atenco Mayor Ana Muñiz stated that the jet was completely burned and seven bodies have been recovered from the wreckage. The aircraft had taken off from the Pacific coastal city of Acapulco and was scheduled to land at Toluca International Airport, located about 50 kilometers west of Mexico City.
Due to an in-flight emergency, the pilot attempted to land the jet on a football field, approximately five kilometers short of the airport. However, during the maneuver, the aircraft lost balance and struck the metal roof of an industrial building, causing it to break apart and burst into flames.
The crash occurred in an industrial zone, but fortunately, there were no workers inside the building at the time of impact. Local residents alerted the police, who arrived quickly along with firefighters and medical teams. The fire brigade successfully extinguished the blaze, and nearly 130 people were evacuated from nearby structures as a precaution.
The injured were transported to hospitals by ambulance. So far, the identities of the deceased have not been officially released.
Authorities have ordered a detailed investigation to determine the exact cause of the emergency landing. Officials are examining whether the crash was due to a technical failure, adverse weather conditions, or human error. The findings of the investigation are awaited.
The incident has once again raised concerns about flight safety during emergency landings, especially in densely populated or industrial areas.
