CEO’s Birthday Party Turns into Nightmarish Gang Rape: Udaipur IT Manager’s Ordeal
Udaipur, Rajasthan – A woman’s invitation to her company’s CEO’s birthday party ended in a horrific gang rape ordeal, shocking residents of Udaipur. The victim, an IT firm manager, alleges she was drugged and brutalized overnight in a moving car by three colleagues, including the CEO and a married executive couple.
The incident unfolded last Saturday when the CEO hosted a late-night birthday bash at the company. The victim joined other guests, but as the party dragged on, attendees left one by one until only four people remained: the victim, the CEO, the executive director (a woman), and her husband.
With no car of her own, the victim accepted a ride home from the executive director. She boarded their vehicle, unaware of the nightmare ahead. During the drive, the accused stopped at a shop and bought an item resembling a cigarette, which they offered her. Initial reports mentioned alcohol, but police confirmed a suspicious substance caused her to pass out.
When she regained consciousness, the victim found herself in a moving car enduring gang rape by all three assailants, despite her resistance. The ordeal lasted through the night; they held her until morning before dropping her near her home. Weak and in severe pain, she sought treatment at a private hospital. Medical reports confirmed the assault, prompting her to file a complaint.
Sukher police station registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. On Thursday, authorities arrested the CEO, the female executive director, and her husband. After interrogation, a court remanded them for four days. Udaipur SP Yogesh Goil stated, “The accused were apprehended post-FIR and produced in court. The victim’s medical exam is complete, her statement recorded, and ASP Madhuri Verma leads the probe.”
The case highlights a chilling betrayal of trust in a professional setting, with a husband-wife duo among the perpetrators.
