Celebrities Step In to Support Punjab Flood Relief: Diljit Dosanjh, Randeep Hooda, and Sunanda Sharma Lead the Effort

Amritsar: As Punjab reels under the impact of devastating floods, several well-known faces from the film and music industry have joined hands to provide relief to thousands of affected families. Popular stars including Diljit Dosanjh, Randeep Hooda, and Sunanda Sharma are actively participating in on-ground rescue and aid operations.

Diljit Dosanjh’s Teams on the Ground

Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has mobilized his teams to deliver essential supplies such as food and medicines across flood-hit areas. In a heartfelt social media video, Diljit said, “I belong to Punjab, and I wish to serve here until the very end.” He pledged that his teams will continue relief work until Punjab recovers and also announced that he will adopt 10 villages to ensure their long-term rehabilitation.

Randeep Hooda and Sunanda Sharma in Action

Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda, in association with the NGO United Sikhs, has been working directly in affected regions. Sharing a video from Gurdaspur, he said he was on his way to meet stranded families and offer assistance.

Punjabi singer Sunanda Sharma has also been actively engaged for the past three days. After providing aid in Ajnala, she is now distributing ration kits and even fodder for livestock in Gurdaspur. She has been urging her fans through social media to contribute generously to relief efforts.

Raza Murad Praises Punjabi Spirit

Veteran Bollywood actor Raza Murad lauded the courage and resilience of Punjabis, saying: “Punjabis are the first to stand by anyone in trouble, no matter where in the world. Their courage is stronger than a rock.” He encouraged people of Punjab to stay strong in this difficult time.
