Celebrations in Patna as Centre Approves Caste Census Inclusion in National Survey

Soon after the announcement, former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and senior RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav led celebrations at the party headquarters in Patna. Party workers and leaders were seen bursting firecrackers, distributing sweets, and raising slogans in support of the decision. Tejashwi Yadav hailed the move as a “historic step toward social justice and equal representation.”

Speaking to the media, RJD leaders said that this decision will help ensure equitable distribution of resources and better implementation of welfare schemes. “Knowing the real socio-economic condition of all communities is essential for inclusive development,” said an RJD spokesperson.
