Another Major Revelation in Delhi Car Bomb Blast: Accused Received 42 Bomb-Making Videos Before the Attack

The probe into the car bomb blast near Delhi’s Red Fort has uncovered another shocking layer of the conspiracy. Investigators have revealed that one of the three suspected foreign handlers linked to the Faridabad-based Al-Falah Medical College doctors had sent 42 bomb-making tutorial videos to arrested accused Muzammil Ahmed Ganai via encrypted messaging apps.

Three Foreign Handlers Identified

According to investigation teams, three foreign handlers—believed to be using fake identities—were involved in guiding the terror module:

  • Hanzullah

  • Nissar

  • Uqasa

Officials suspect that these names are aliases, and their real identities are still being verified. Sources say that Hanzullah sent the majority of the bomb-making videos—over 40—directly to Dr. Ganai. The doctor is also accused of arranging storage for the explosives required for the module.

Dr. Ganai Was Arrested Before the Red Fort Blast

Dr. Muzammil Ahmed Ganai had already been arrested about 10 days before the Red Fort explosion. A massive cache of explosives—more than 2,500 kg, including 350 kg of ammonium nitrate—was recovered from his premises.

Entry of a Key Handler: ‘Colonel’ Shahid Faisal

The investigation has also uncovered another significant foreign handler: Mohammad Shahid Faisal, who operated using multiple aliases such as “Colonel,” “Laptop Bhai,” and “Bhai.”

Faisal is believed to have coordinated terror modules in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu in 2020. He is an engineering graduate from Bengaluru who disappeared in 2012 after being linked to a Lashkar-e-Taiba recruitment network involving young engineers and doctors. He fled to Pakistan after being identified as a key conspirator by Indian intelligence agencies.

Sources indicate that Faisal also travelled to the Syria–Turkey border recently. He has been named as a wanted accused in the Rameshwaram Café blast case under NIA investigation.

Possible Links to South India Terror Events

Officials believe that the Delhi blast may be connected to recent terror activities in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The handlers, modus operandi, and communication patterns show notable similarities, prompting a deeper cross-regional investigation.

Similarity With the Coimbatore Car Suicide Blast

Investigators have also drawn parallels between the Red Fort blast and the 23 October 2022 Coimbatore suicide car explosion, in which engineering graduate Jameesha Mubin died while attempting to target a temple using an LPG-triggered IED. Materials recovered in Coimbatore—such as potassium nitrate, PETN powder, red phosphorus, and batteries—match several components seized in the Delhi case.
