23 GNDU students gets jobs
Amritsar, 08 September, 2025 ( ) – Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Dr. Karamjeet Singh, Directorate of Placement & Career Enhancement, Guru Nanak Dev University organized a campus placement drive by one of the big 4 consulting firm KPMG. As many as 23 students from various B.Tech. courses – Batch 2026 of Guru Nanak Dev University have been offered job by this company.
Dr. Amit Chopra, Director, Directorate of Placement & Career Enhancement said that KPMG conducted an online test, Group Discussion round, technical and HR interviews of final year students of engineering graduates. KPMG offered GRCS Tech & Telecom profile to 8 students, who will get Rs. 6.00 Lakh per annum. The company also offered Digital Trust profile to 15 students, who will get Rs. 5.00 Lakh per annum.
Apart from the job, these students have also been offered 6 months internship from January to June, 2026, where they will also get stipend of Rs. 20,000/- per month. Dr. Karamjeet Singh, Vice Chancellor, congratulated the students and faculty members on securing job offers from KPMG. He also lauded the efforts of the Directorate of Placement & Career Enhancement for consistently bringing leading corporates to GNDU. Highlighting the achievement, he remarked that the strong demand for GNDU students in the corporate world is a testimony to the University’s quality infrastructure and world-class facilities at Amritsar. Dean Academic Affairs, Dr. Palwinder Singh, and Registrar, Dr. K.S. Chahal, also extended their congratulations to the students on this remarkable success.
